Harassment can take many forms including violence, threats, abuse, and damage to property. It can involve verbal abuse and name calling, offensive graffiti and can be received via text message, emails or social networking sites.
If the associated behaviour is of a criminal nature you need to report this to the Police immediately. You must also let them know if you are concerned about your safety.
Once you have reported it to the Police, please either contact us or complete the online Contact Us form with the incident report number and the officer’s name so we can work with them to agree the next steps.
If the behaviour has been ongoing, please complete our diary sheets with dates and times of the incidents and send these to us. You can do this by email, hand or by post.
If you have an immediate fear for your safety and feel you can no longer reside at your address, please contact NIHE for advice on temporary accommodation.
